My Gallery
Welcome to my gallery, below is a small collection of pieces split into three categories. Raster Graphics are graphics made in a digital painting method in Adobe Photoshop. Vector Graphics are line and shape based graphics created using lines and shapes in Adobe Illustrator. 3D modeling is the sculpting and molding of objects in a virtual 3D space in such programs as Autodesk Maya, and XSI Soft Image.
Many of these pieces are the results of course projects, while others are simply creations made in my free time for various reasons. Through this gallery I hope to be able to give you a good impression of my wide range of experience and ability in these different digital mediums. Down near the bottom of the page I have included a link to my DeviantArt profile where I host more traditional pieces.

Content Creation
I am always working on multiple projects at any one time, and I am always challenging myself with more intricate, more advanced, and larger projects and ideas. My tools of the trade consist of Adobe Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS5, Adobe Flash CS5.5, Dreamweaver CS4, as well as traditional tools such as mechanical pencils, erasers, and paper.
If a project is large enough, and if there is demand I will often take screenshots to show in-progress updates to interested parties, and to get feedback. Many of the pieces shown above have many "behind the scenes" screenshots that I would be willing to post if someone were interested.
My design process is highly iterative, I almost never finish a project the way I intended to at the start. Typically I favor long development times with plenty of feedback and tweaking over a short development cycle with little input, however I am very capable of doing either, and prioritize deadlines above all else.

My DeviantArt
I have had a DeviantArt profile since I started College in 2005, I have used it as an art dump as I struggled, and continue to struggle with learning how to draw figures. Most of my traditional art background is in sketching, a skill that was highly encouraged at the Purdue CGT department. I also interact with many gaming and fantasy communities that are always seeking someone with an artistic eye and a love of good character design.
My current gallery of traditional sketches and drawings are located at http://hard-won-fame.deviantart.com/
In addition to my drawings and sketches I also have some digital paint pieces hosted there that are also featured in the gallery above.
